Dr. Reena Dhatt
MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr. Dhatt is in her 24th year of family practice and still provides office hours five days a week. In addition, she is often here on weekends offering “overflow” appointments for all NEOMO patients.
She is also active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as an Associate Professor at NOSM. She has recently taken on the position as primary care LHIN lead, Sudbury in an effort to build a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Health, family practice and community partners.
She is participating in boards at the OMA, PCTA, NOAMA, Ontario College of Family Physicians, OMD and NOSM and is also a member of the Provincial Council on Child and Maternal Health.
Dr. Dhatt is also helping to build a Health Link with the Canadian Association of Mental Health, participate in a Managed Alcohol Program (wet shelter) and help develop a clinic downtown for marginalized populations.
She provides Allergy Services for all of Northern Ontario. She is holds certification in Travel Medicine and Occupational Health.
She is the lead of our Clinical Trials, Travel, Allergy and Skin Departments.
Dr. Dhatt plays golf, tennis, paddle boards in the summer and snowboards in the winter. She tries to keep up with her teenage boys.
